These are the terms for booking and attending sessions with me, and for using this website. By booking a session or using this site, you're agreeing to them.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website (the "Site") and your booking of any session, program, or offering with Nico Kage Akiba, operating as Peace Ease Release ("I," "me," "my"). By browsing the Site, booking a session, or otherwise using these services, you agree to these Terms and to the Medical Disclaimer, which is incorporated here by reference. If you don't agree, please don't book a session or use the Site.
Peace Ease Release provides breathwork, meditation, and related somatic wellbeing offerings, currently including: private one-on-one breathwork sessions and the 7 Session Series, meditation and mindful inquiry coaching, group breathwork experiences, and guided meditation recordings. Offerings, formats, and pricing may change over time — the most current details are always on the relevant page of this Site.
You must be at least 18 years old to book a session or use this Site on your own behalf. If you'd like to arrange a session for a minor, please contact me directly — participation by anyone under 18 requires a parent or legal guardian's written consent and, in most cases, their presence or involvement.
Sessions are booked through cal.com/nico-akiba. Current pricing is listed on the relevant service page at the time of booking (for example, private sessions are detailed on the Work With Me page); a sliding scale is available on request for anyone for whom the standard rate is a barrier. Payment is due at the time of booking unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. Prices may change at any time, but a change in price won't affect a session you've already booked and paid for.
Specific cancellation and rescheduling windows are shown at the time of booking through the scheduling platform. As a general policy, I ask for as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule, and sessions cancelled with little or no notice, or missed without notice, may not be refunded. If something comes up, reach out — I'd rather work something out with you directly than apply a policy rigidly.
You're responsible for telling me about any physical or mental health condition, medication, or circumstance (see the contraindications listed in the Medical Disclaimer) that could be relevant to your safe participation in a session. I rely on what you share with me being accurate and current.
As set out fully in the Medical Disclaimer, nothing offered through Peace Ease Release is medical, psychiatric, or licensed therapeutic care, and no session creates a clinical relationship between us. This work is educational and experiential, offered by me as a certified mindfulness teacher and breathwork facilitator — not a licensed healthcare provider. If you're facing a medical or psychiatric emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
Breathwork, meditation, and related somatic practices can bring up strong physical sensations and emotions. By participating, you acknowledge that you're doing so voluntarily and at your own discretion, and that you assume the risks associated with these practices. You're always free to pause, slow down, or stop at any time during a session.
Group breathwork and other group offerings ask a lot of trust from everyone in the room. If you attend a group session, you agree to keep confidential anything personal that another participant shares — what's said in the circle stays in the circle. I ask everyone to treat fellow participants and me with respect, and I reserve the right to ask someone to leave a session, without refund, if their conduct is disruptive or unsafe for the group.
Guided meditations, session recordings, written content, and other materials I provide are for your personal, non-commercial use only. Please don't copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share this material without my written permission. Live sessions may be recorded only with participants' advance knowledge and consent.
If you send me a testimonial, review, or feedback, you're giving me a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, edit for length or clarity, and display that content on this Site and in other marketing for Peace Ease Release, unless you tell me otherwise in writing. I'll never use your full name or identifying details without checking with you first. You confirm that anything you share is your own honest experience and doesn't violate anyone else's rights.
This Site uses or links to third-party services — including cal.com for booking, Web3Forms for the contact form, YouTube for embedded video, and Google Fonts for typography — and may link to other outside websites. I don't control these services and I'm not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Please review their own terms and privacy policies separately.
The text, images, and design of this Site belong to me or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You're welcome to browse, share links to, and quote short excerpts of this Site with attribution; please don't otherwise copy, scrape, or republish it without asking first.
This Site and its services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I don't guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any particular result will come from any session or offering.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nico Kage Akiba and Peace Ease Release won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this Site or participation in any session, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nico Kage Akiba and Peace Ease Release from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
I may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in my offerings or for legal reasons. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version. Continuing to use the Site or book sessions after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
